    Hi

I’ve acquired an old lens for a maker project. The lens has an integrated auto iris with an unusual male adapter. I’m going to use the lens to build a cctv platform and am trying to find out more about the iris control so that I can write a module to control it.

    The lens is a Canon TV Zoom v6 x 17 17-102.

The iris control adapter has 5 pins with a plastic centre.

I’ve not been able to find any information about the lens or the iris control adapter

Kudos to anyone who can tell me more about this lens’s history and specifically the iris control‘s electronics
    and wiring.

    many thanks
