The son of a friend, who is 14 yr old, would like to buy this camera kit with a 18-55mm (for 650$ CAN) as a 1st introduction to more serious photography and filming for social medias. He especially like the fact it's touch screen. I know that this model is maybe 2-3yrs old. But what do you think of this model for a teenage boy? It's APS-C, so sensor is enough... Are there any equivalents or better models nowadays for the same price? Thanks
