    CAN I SET AN INITIAL FOCUSINF POINT WHEN USING AUTO SELECTION AF.
    IF SO HOW?

    Not sure you mean by wanting an initial point during auto selection of auto-focus? It sounds a little contradictory to me. The focusing algorithms on your camera are really good at what they do and will target the correct points and predict adjustments needed on say a bird inflight between the moment of focus and capture.
