Intervalometer

    the problem with the hardware solution is it is designed for EOS firmware, you will see the m cameras not listed, they are using powershot firmware as their platform.
    https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4342322 there are threads like this that show you are not alone, seems a iphone app called cascade is a viable solution but you should research a bit more on if it fits your need.

    when i was trying to get a sound and light trigger for my M50 the problem i had was the M50 doesn't have a physical shutter release port so make sure before you buy anything in this area
    its the only thing i haven't been able to do on the M50 that i wanted to.
