    Greetings all!

I'm new to the forums, I am super happy to be here! I recently purchased the EF-S 60mm for digitizing my film negatives. I purchased it used from KEH and also purchased a lens cap from there separately.I bought a 60mm front lens cap and it would not fit. I've tried looking up information, but I cannot find anything. I've seen a 67mm USM cap that has "ultrasonic" on the front, which is a feature of this lens. Does anyone have solid information before I purchase this? Thank you so much!

    Welcome to the forums Drinky!
Several sites will have accurate info for your canon EF-S 60mm. You would look under specs for the filter size of the lens. Lens filter size is 52mm, 60mm is the focal length of the lens. You may find it helpful to research those terms to understand what they are exactly.....if you get a 200mm lens it will likely use a 77mm filter for example.

Welcome to the Forum, Dinky, try the cheap Chinese ones on Ebay, I have quite a few of them and have had no issues. Check the size of your lens thread to get the correct one. A quick way to do this is screw a lens filter in the lens to confirm your thread size and did I say they we cheap. I buy a few at a time as I tend to loose then, You might as well get a few caps for the base of the lens, I tend to miss place these a well.

Thanks all, had a super busy week and just saw these now! I'm ordering a 52mm cap as we speak, I learned to check the filter size specifications first! Thank you all so much!
