Hi everyone, advice needed, due to a shoulder problem the equipment I'm using ( 5D markii, 100/400 F4 L, 24/105 F4 L, etc) has become way too heave for me to cope with, I'm looking to replace all this with some lighter lenses, I would like to cover the range 24/400 with some lenses which are lighter then the L series, any advice greatly received.

There are number of ways to approach this depending on what you value out of the equipment and your budget. Consumer grade lenses are plastic and lighter but have quality as a drawback, you could also go mirrorless and get new lenses there they would be smaller and have some quality glass options. A bridge camera will also be a more compact option with a single lens and will cover your 400mm range.
