I have a canon M50 mark ii and just picked up a Neewer z1-c and qpro-c. With the z1-c on the camera's hot shoe it works perfectly. TTL, HSS, etc. however with the Qpro-c nothing works. I can get it to fire the flash in manual mode but that's it. It seems like the camera doesn't recognize the trigger and therefore there are no firing options in the external flash menu. I've tried updating the firmware on the Qpro-c but it still isn't recognized. I know lots of people use this trigger so I'm wondering what my problem is.
