I have a new Canon Pixma TS202 inkjet printer and it came with PG-244 color and PG-243 black cartridges.

I read somewhere that these cartridges are compatible with each other, and PG-245 and PG-246 cartridges are also compatible with each other.

Since the printer occasionally mixes black and color ink. I need to know if the two pairs of cartridges are cross-compatible for when one runs dry.

Since PG-243 and PG-244 are considered "starter" cartridges (~100 pages). I need to know if, when for instance the black cartridge goes empty, will replacing it with a PG-245 (~180 pages) or PG-245XL (~300 pages) be compatible with the remaining PG-244 color "starter" leftover ink?
