I recently recovered some files from an old (3 years) SD card and it also shows a video folder with a number of FLC files, all around 10MB each. I am not familiar with this file format and all the software I have downloaded can't open them. Is anyone familiar with why these files are in this format and how to read them. I would really like to know what they are and save them, if possible. The SD card was used in a Canon EOS Rebel T3. Any help is appreciated!!

https://fileinfo.com/extension/flc it is an auto-desk extension possibly an animated selection of images. It is not canon if that is the format.
You should copy to hard drive to save somewhere else and make sure you do a clean format on the card before using it it the camera.

I appreciate the reply! I don't know why they are showing up as video files in a video folder, but can't seem to find anything that will open them. Thank you!

Quick time plays it i understand, the link i shared mentioned a few programs. These are played by video players so treated similarly by the operating system.
