Help I have a canon 5DmIV and a 5DmIII I use a 24-105 0n both bodies but to day while using this lens on my 5DmIv it came up with error 01 which is clean the contacts on the lens which I did it worked for 2/3 images before I got the error back but while it was taking the images it made a funny sound . I tried it on the 5DIII and it worked fine and no funny sound or error message . so I tried a different lens on both bodies a 70-200 L 2.8 which is a new lens and it worked on both cameras with out a problem. could any give me an idea what it could be and can it be put right or does it mean a new 24-105 lens Many thanks for taking the time to read this
Yes I cleaned the contacts on both lens and body and it still did not work . but my husband as just done it again and I am pleased to say I am up and running again thanks for the reply
