I cannot view my upcoming shot on the screen as I can in the viewfinder. The screen only shows the various menu pages, the quick control screen, and previously taken photos. I'm suspecting the one of my customizations is to blame. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. FWIW I tried all 4 options under "Screen/Viewfinder display" without success. I get menus only. Thanks in advance.
Once you've got menus on the rear LCD, you're not going to get back to live view until you half-press the shutter.... Roscoe
Hello Mr. P: I forgot to mention that I was half pressing the shutter and that didn't do it. FYI, I finally found the problem (at about 2 AM!). FYI: The problem was that in the Red menu, tab 7, under "Shooting Info. Display", the "Screen Info. Settings" I had checked screens #2 and #5. I tried adding a check to screen #1 and that was the fix. Thanks for you caring enough to respond.
