Yesterday evening I was taking a few test shots with a very basic Photax 300mm preset lens I'm selling on eBay, and it started to rain as I took the last picture, a church about 230 yards from my home (according to Google). I was rather pleased with the result. Considering that I live in London I seem to take remarkably few weather photos, I really must do more.

Technical stuff: Eos 300D, Photax 300mm lens 1/2500 f8, the lens had an M42 T-mount to which I added a chipped M42 - Eos converter so that I could use AV metering. The sun was above the church when I took the shot.
