I need a remote shutter release for my Rebel T7 (1500D). Wired is fine. Even the Canon ones don't list te T7 on their compatabilty list. Any suggestions known to work?
    Thanks.

RS-60E3 is the one listed in the spec sheet for the 1500D.

Ray is right in this selection but my I suggest something a little different, that has a second use.
The Younguno RF603C Wireless Flash Triggers. they have two purposes.
    1. you place on on the camera and the second on a flash unit.
The modern flash unit has wireless capability but the purchase of these units allow the use of cheap second hand flash units, that can now be used in a off the camera role.
    2. With the first unit attached to the camera, the second can be used to activate the camera in a remote shutter role.
Since these wireless units are cheap, you can buy more and operate them from the one on the camera, also allowing the purchase of more cheap flash units that can be used in tandem.

Interesting, they don't list the RF603 flash triggers anymore on their site, I would think it better to stick with the 622's especially if you want to add the controller to the flash setup.

But honestly I would pick up the 60E3 wired canon remote ray mentioned which is listed in the manual. Its the simple and cheap option. I have the RC-6 canon wireless remote which probably would work but only lists the t7i on the compatibility chart. You would have to find out if someone has that and a t7 and if it worked.

Johnsey, I checked on Ebay and they are selling what appears to be a mark2 version a 602 ii C which has gone up in price to 47 dollars aus.
Your suggestion may be a cheaper option now.
