    Hello all,

The piece in this photo fell off inside the lens of my Canon Rebel EOS T1i.

Does anyone know what it's called, and if it's something that can be repaired?

    Thanks. IMG_3325 copy.jpg

Maybe one of the guys on here that likes to fiddle with old lenses can help. I would imagine you could dissect the lens and put it back if its not broken, but you may have other issues with parts inside if this "fell out".

Which lens is it? I bet you could get a used copy for under $100 which would be cheaper than a repair bill for sure since that would likely be $100 an hour. You could also upgrade it to something a bit better, if we know what lens you want to replace and the budget we could probably put a few suggestions out there.
