Hello everyone, Just wanted to say a quick hello and share a bit about my background, as well as a project I’ve been working on that might be of interest to other film shooters here. Photography started early for me. My dad handed me his Canon AE-1 when I was a kid, and that’s what set everything in motion. Even as life and work took me in different directions, that love for film never really left. Professionally, I spent over a decade designing software interfaces. I’ve always believed that good design should serve people quietly, without getting in the way. A couple of years ago, I decided to bring that philosophy into something more personal: a small app called Frames. It’s made for film photographers who want a simple way to log their rolls, keep track of settings, gear, notes, and later reconnect that data with their scans. Nothing fancy or overbuilt, just a way to stay organised and stay close to the process.
