My understanding is that with Nikon DSLR cameras, whatever settings are used during video mode captures may be saved in order that they are still there and ready for the next time the camera is switched into video mode from capturing stills. This feature wherein settings for ISO, WB, shutter speed, Exposure, etc. are saved in Video mode does not seem to be available on the Canon 5D Mark IV although using Custom Setting Modes (C1, C2 or C3) works nearly as well.
