After a bit of research I decided the G7X Mark ii was the ideal cam to start off with before I invested into something bigger & better. However, just as I was about to pay around $700 for one on Best Buy, I noticed one being sold locally for only $300 and decided to jump on it.

But after watching tutorial videos & wondering why things weren't looking the same on my camera...I realized that I was sold a Mark i & not a Mark ii. But before I contacted the seller I did even more research & it seems like...there really isn't a big difference between the 2? Besides the extra 45 degree screen movement.

So my question/concern is...I still got a pretty good deal right? And I should just stick with this one since the 2 isn't a big leap? If someone can point out something major I'm missing on the Mark ii, then perhaps I'll consider either getting a refund or reselling it. But so far the image quality appears to be great.
