Can anyone help with my predicament?

We were trying to use a new SplashArt dropper yesterday and having set up the equipment and got it synced with my R5 Camera with the Speedlite 460 EX111-RT attached, we then attempted to set up the EX11 slave. No matter what we tried and all the YouTube videos, we gave up after 2 hours.

Can anyone please point me to a web site that tells me what settings and instructions I need to follow to get them to flash together.

I’ll have a look on Canon’s web site again, but any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the same gear, but presumably you set the the camera up to define the flash groups according regarding how much power. The 430ex2 needs to be put in slave mode and most importantly it needs to see the camera as the preflash and flash are optical communication to the 430II NOT radio like the ex3 you have, you have a couple generations of gear here. So if the bottom half of the flash is being blocked from line of sight that would be a problem and my first guess at why things are not working.

I personally own exII gear ( a few 580exIIs) and invested in radio triggers to make sure i had versatility needed.
