I have a bunch of cameras, Canon 550d, 600d, 650d and 700d's. If I use a Yongnuo remote attached to the camera, I can still change all the settings and image taken "holds". However, if I used a trigger box (Cam-Fi), the Q screen appears if it's switched on with the trigger cable inserted. I then cant use any buttons on the camera to the right of the screen. If I want to see Live View, I have to take the trigger cable out , press the "camera" button then put the trigger cable back in. It's a standard audio cable, just like the Yongnuo cable. it also wont hold the image.
