Does anyone know anything about the codes used to say which camera a TX mount will fit? My reason for asking is that I bought a TX lens without a mount, vaguely remembering that I had a TX mount in my spares box. The trouble is that it turns out that the mount is marked SL, and I have no idea what it fits. I've tried QBM for Rolleiflex SL 35 and it isn't that, and it doesn't seem to be any of the more common makes. Anyone know, or have a list of the mount identification codes? Or want to sell me a TX mount for something useful?
It's possible - I was thinking the SL was much later but it looks like I'm wrong, I must have mixed it with another Leica mount.
Now about 99% sure it IS Leicaflex SL - it turns out that the flange focal distance for that is 47mm, and when I tried hand-holding it in front of my Eos 400 it focused on infinity when it was about 3mm away from the flange, which is 44mm. Should be easy enough to rig a bit of card or plastic to hold it at the right distance for me to take a few test shots before I sell it on.
The latest on this, unfortunately, is that it's definitely Leicaflex - and incomplete! One of the metal parts that links to the camera mechanism is missing, looks like it has been unscrewed. So not really sellable, except possibly for spare parts or something.
