Viewfinder hood

    Powershot SX10I S
    I have a Powershot SX 10 IS and any of you who are familiar with it know It has a foldout LCD screen and a typical viewfinder. I have trouble seeing my subjects clearly through either one in bright daylight so have been trying to find a hood for the regular viewfinder to block much of the daylight. No matter where or what search terms I use I get LCD hoods or lens hoods but no viewfinder hoods. Can anyone tell me where to find what I want?

    welcome to the Forum, meamjwe . there is a cheap solution to this and that is, why don't you make one.
    It would not be that hard, plastic , cardboard or even aluminum would suffice.
