    Hi,
New to all this and my partner has been given her late fathers camera stuff.
We have no idea about any of it and she is looking to sell.
Could any of you give us some idea of what any of its worth please.
Thank you for any help in advance 1540119542772839792109013768390.jpg 15401195845753569042491285411155.jpg

I would say priceless to your partner, especially if the partner follows the late father's interest in what is a stimulating interest and pass time.

Thanks for your message but my partner is in a wheelchair and never really had an interest in photography

Honest advice - find someone who is selling the same thing by auction on eBay and see what it ends up selling for. Do it two or three times for each item and you'll end up with a fair idea. The camera is old enough that it won't be incredibly valuable, it's fairly low resolution by modern standards and the memory card is CF which is getting difficult to find, but you have several batteries for it which is a plus. The lenses tend to maintain their value a little better. As for the filters... I tend to sell off a box of random filters every few months as they accumulate, they really don't sell for much at all.

In the UK, the CEX chain of shops buys and sells a lot of electronics gear including cameras and lenses, if you check the model etc. carefully you can find out what they will pay for them in various conditions, and what they sell them for. For example, that's an Eos 350D with (I think) their standard sort of 18-55 lens - their site says

Grade A: We Sell for £115.00, We Buy for cash £29.00
Grade C: We Sell for £72.00, We Buy for cash £18.00

I definitely don't advise selling to them, but the fact that they can actually buy in stuff at those prices, admittedly usually from people who are desperate for a little cash, has to tell you something.

I forgot to say that this is true IF the lenses are working well, clean, and don't have any mistiness or fungus (weird marks on the glass inside the lens, sometimes grey cobwebby stuff but that's a very badly damaged lens, most are a lot less obvious). If they haven't been used for a long while and have been stored under inappropriate conditions there's always a possibility of problems. Easy way to find out - take a few pictures and make sure you don't get any error messages or really bad results.
