We get them coming up the Derwent River, about the same time al the fish go off the bite.

An interesting waterfall, Gary. Usually they just go over in a even low but this one goes in various directions, top shot, mate.
It's working well for you, Caladina. My 28 to 104mm is my most used lens for daylight, it allows me a bit of distance from my subject.

I agree with Gary, the slower shutter speed one shows movement where as the other looks like a creepy spider dropping from the sky.

This would be handy when shooting in a small room to capture all that is there.
