This looking through the viewfinder I guess? Is the image that you are photographing look sharp?

Sorry, another question. When you are looking through the viewfinder, does the subject that you are looking at look sharp?

I had a sudden thought that it could have been the viewfinder diopter needed adjusting. But with your replies to the questions, I really don't know. I have never seen anything quite like what you are describing. Has the red dot overlay moved? It sort of sounds like it. How do you fix it? I guess by sending it to a Canon doctor. Would it be worth it? I am not sure. What would it cost? I have no idea. I would be interested to know what the problem is with your camera.

If you can live with it, fine. But could it be the very reason you need to have an upgrade of camera.

Let us know how you get on.

I don't think my 4000d has a dipoter setting to be honest either, I'll take it in and see how much it would cost and I'll let you know!! Thanks for your time!
