Ladies and Gents, Since I have not much better to do than clean out some cupboards, I came across two cameras that have some flaws. I have an EOS 350D where the mode knob broke off, and an EOS400D where the trimming of the diopter no longer works. So I was wondering whether it would be possible to replace the broken diopter on the 400D with the functional diopter of the 350D.... Is there anybody that can help me out amongst you? Thx!
The diopter is built into the camera, you would have to take them apart assuming the part is the same and could be swapped. This seems like far more work than either of these cameras are worth.
