    Telephoto Lens.
    Lens: Takumar F 70~210mm Lens Camera: Pentax K100d Super Photo Location: Neighbor's Yard ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F10
    Actual shutter speed is 1/400s. Normal Exposure Mode, No flash and used CWA Metering.

    Nice shot, the flower draws the eye to it"s center, it is nicely focused and the negative out of focus area to the left works well in the shot, the flower hasn't been slapped in the middle which can get boring after a while.

    Okay, I finally woke up to the meaning. There are rare times when I will place the subject close to the center, but never dead center. I find it worse than boring, more of an insult than anything else. Thanks again for your encouraging words.

    This is an Australian quote for what you have already worked out, when something is dead center.
