It's amazing what you find when rummaging through old boxes. First image of several to come.

Thanks Craig. When it's chucking it down with rain anything that appears in front of my lens is fair game to keep the spark alive and dusty old boxes often come up with some little gems.

Hopefully you will have a nice day for your field trip Craig, in the meantime here's another from the junk box as I sit here listening to the rain. :(

Nice Thumbnail, the background does not overpower the main element, a simple but pleasing image.
The trip to Oatland went well, none were lost or injured. Always a good thing.
11 students on the day. I am stuffed, running around after them, helping with camera settings, etc. I had a nana nap when I got home.

A nice set of images from your trip Craig. With a windmill, a lake and even sculptures on a roof I can see the attraction for a days shooting.

In the pud after a wildlife walk about,
liked the vertical shadows cast by the lamp on the wall, thought it would make a good black and white

I must ask what do you mean by "in the pud" in Australia, in the pud or in the pudding club means you are expecting, does this have a different meaning in this context, a bit outside of photography I know, now aside from this bit of silly banter and on to the subject at hand, the light shade acting as a light modifier, an interesting effect, Caladina.

The skeleton and vertical bands of light and dark give the image an almost surreal effect to me Caladina, well spotted.

Perfectly understandable, I have noticed it a few times with your posts, is your keyboard like mine. ocationally you press a key and a different letter comes up. I am forced to double and triple check my posts then re-edit them.
