I'm new to Canon, but not new to photography. I acquired a Canon Rebel T3i a few days ago, along with an 18-55mm kit lens. Surely not the most exciting hardware out there, but it's a place to start and the price was definitely right. I've been shooting with Pentax cameras for a few years, but I just thought I'd like to try something new. I haven't really had much of a chance to put the camera through its paces, but I look forward to doing so this summer.
