Thanks. It's the house across the street from our winter house in FL. The neighbors do occasionally sit there ;) One of the first few pictures I took with the EF 70-200f4 IS.

Hmmm, yellow. Not such an easy one, not a lot of yellow around here apart from flowers. So yes, that was my first thought.

I have not long brought a new to me set of extension tubes, and this was more of just playing. RP, 70-200 f4 L and 36mm of tubes.

And then I put on my thinking cap, and I thought, I can do something else. Second submission.

    RP, 70-200 f4 L, and 12 mm of tubes.

Gary, I am in the same boat, only traffic signs and flowers, any thing else requires a more careful search.

I went looking for ideas, and I had the choice of some power tools, a watering can, and some banana's.

    Thanks Craig.

There is something not quite right with that image, I'll see if anyone spots it.

With that image, I was thinking of something a little different. I guess we all look at these monthly challenges differently. The way I look at these challenges, is I want to put some thought into my submission, and try something a little different than what I would point my camera at, even if the end image looks like a steaming pile of .........

The flower shot is more of trying something new. I brought a set of EOS AF extension tubes to play around with. The minimum focusing distance of my 70-200 is something like 1.2 meters, so I wanted to throw some tubes into the mix, and see how it panned out. I am not a flower snapper at all. But I was pleasantly surprised how well the gear worked. I can see me exploring these tubes more, and maybe even looking a grabbing a macro lens, and combining them.

Gary I think you hit the nail on the head, I view the comp in a similar way, it is something to stimulate and get out and about shooting images. If you try something different and learn from it then you are a winner, just get out and shout something, out still have achieved something.

Caladina, when I went to the botanical Gardens in Hobart I took a lady friend along for a picnic, by the mention of the sausages you may have done the same with your partner by the look of your image it would have been worth the trip.
