Hoping someone can shed light on a problem I can't seem to solve with my Vixia HF M52. I have spent a crazy amount of time watching You Tube videos and reading posts but cannot find the answer. How do you change your recording option from internal drive to SD card, or download a video file to your laptop from the internal drive of the camera? Initially I only recorded on the SD cards, but apparently I must have "accidentally" switched things over to the internal memory. Will be grateful for directions out of the dark.

Page 147 covers steps to connect camera via usb and once the camera is recognized by your computer transfer video using a canon transfer utility. You may have to ready up on wifi transfer is that is your preference. and you may have to download the software from canon to get this working if you never used the process and just pulled the sd card out every time and copied it off from there.
