We need an idea, a brilliant one, to make this forum vibrant, even viral. Anybody??? Phil, you could make a contest for this.
I know that is a commonplace, but two threads, funniest pet pics, and funniest pet video, made by members, regardless of camera or phone, could be interesting. Maybe.
We have a General Talk forum made for things just like it. If you want, you can start some of the threads!
have the mods post in various sections daily to keep things active and busy. not filler posts - real posts, stuff about canon mount lenses, cameras, etc. right now most of the posts are getting to know you posts or posted photos. me, i love to talk gear, so there's not much to talk about.
Phil, if you want, and think it can be useful, you can move this thread to General Talk. Meantime, I wanna ask you if you think that will be good to start those two threads I was thinking about funny pets?
if you enjoy funny pet threads, you should probably post them. that being said, funny pet threads won't bring / keep dedicated canon users coming back.
It's an idea. I can't say that it will work or not. I have posted here, and I did't start those threads about pets because I was expecting feedback from admin. and members. Both ways, is no problem for me.
Phil gave you the thumbs up to start threads of that nature in the General Talk section. I wouldn't worry about starting any specific thread as long as it is in the correct section based on the topic.
